Attendance was down a little bit from last year's 2232 runners.
There could be many reasons for this. Maybe it was the lack of
traffic control and directional signs. Maybe it was the mandatory
evacuation. But traffic was light, running through a quiet
neighboorhood of boarded up houses. I can't complain about the lack
of water on the course because we got free showers afterward.

Unfortunately there was no turtle release this year. Probably wouldn't
be a good idea because the surf was looking a bit rough.

We will still need to go to Running Zone to pick up our shirts and medals.
I don't have any plans for Sunday or Monday, but I suspect they
might be closed.
