Softball throw, distance thrown minus distance from center line, best of 3 throws 7. Canoe race, 50 yards out to buoy and turn around 8. Bowling, total score of 3 games 9. Golf, closest to pin in 3 tries from 100 yards 10. 90 yard obstacle course: climb 10 foot wall using rope (6 ft. for women and men 43+), crawl through tunnel, run through 10 tires, jump 6 ft. sand pit, 4 ft. high jump (3'6" for women) onto mats, and jump two hurdles. Used as tie breaker in case of tie in the other events. John McReynolds of Melbourne set a new bench press record of 405 lbs., beating his own 1998 record by 5 lbs.
