The New Year's Eve 5 miler has been held for the last 20
years on the Melbourne Beach fun run course, out and back
on the bike path along A1A.  The race starts at 11:45 PM and
finishes after the new year.  Instead of an entry fee, runners
bring food for a pot luck feast after the race.
