BARGAIN 10K BEACH RUN 
 Patrick AFB, Satellite Beach FL
 July 17, 1982

This was a well organized race with a different challenge than the usual road course.
The sand was firm to soft, with a few rocks to negotiate and as usual for this time of year
high humidity. Together with the on time 7 a.m. start, rain ceasing just before race
time and cloud coverage, it kept temperatures down. A trophy was given to overall male and
female and medals three deep in five year age groups.
