Sorry for the delay in posting. Lots of 4th of July activities. 

Thanks to everyone who came out the Kelly Park for the 1st Annual 
Merritt Island Midsummer Night Marathon (there will 
definitely be a 2nd next year!)

We had 20 people out, 15 running some portion of the race. 6 people 
chose to run 15.72mi including Amy Paroline who ran a personal best 
at that distance.

4 people finished the full 26.2 led by Daddy Ultra Runs owner, Hernan 
Garcia with a time of 4:04:22. Congrats! Jason Dowdell and David Metcalf 
finished together in 4:50:01. Great job for your first marathon Jason. 
Fiona Wright finished in 5:49:07 and has now run all 4 Brevard County 
marathons! Thanks to all for participating and particularly to our 
hearty volunteers who helped with setup, clean-up and moral support 
during the long, late hours.

If anyone would still like to contribute to our UCF Haiti projects 
to redevelop education and healthcare, please send a check made out
